Alexa & Scott's 1 Year Anniversary Session

It's been so long since I've last posted! I have been working quite a bit for my own company as well as freelancing for others. I have had several clients who have not wanted their images shared online and some companies whose clients shared the same sentiment. And so I have been patiently waiting and gradually accumulating galleries that I am very excited to share with you.

I absolutely LOVE shooting couples! And one thing that makes a couples session even more magical is the addition of their beloved pup! I had the pleasure of capturing Alexa & Scott in Central Park recently along with their adorable schnauzer. She was a complete delight, super friendly, energetic and completely enthralled with her humans.  

           

 

Scott & Alexa have tons of chemistry, evident yet effortless in each image. It also helps that they happened to be just shy of their 1 year wedding anniversary!

As they walked side by side, they were joking with one another, reminiscing and being a bit silly. Which really gave the images a much more authentic look and feel to them. 

We walked around the park getting finding great shaded areas to shoot while chatting it up about our passions. I also happened to bring along my long pearl necklace to use as a leash during some of the final images.

*Pro Tip: When shooting dogs, get down low and have your camera ready to aim while the clients are adjusting or positioning their pup. That way, as soon as he or she is ready, you'll be able to capture the image. If you adjust the dog, then run to position and adjust your focus, they might be trailing right behind you or already moving onto something else!
