Genevieve's Quirky Session in the City

When I first met Genevieve at our session out in SoHo, we immediately hit it off. She was this cute, soft spoken creative individual who gave off a Greta Gerwig kind of vibe.
As we walked from the meeting point to our first shoot background (a move I pull to get my clients to loosen up before we begin shooting, places less pressure on both parties), I picked her brain a bit as to what exactly she envisioned for the day. She can say one thing on paper or through text, but it's a whole other ball game once we step foot on location.
She mentioned she was a writer, a screen play writer to be exact. She was looking for fun, quirky photos that really showcased her personality. She swiped through a few images of some famous female screen writers and low and behold, Greta Gerwig made an appearance.
I mentioned how I immediately thought of her when we first met, and after giggling through a brief history of her wacky yet relatable films, we arrived at our first location for shooting. I figured if I had her sitting down at first, she can cool down from the walk and get some candids that would make her smile and in turn feel more confident to start.

Our entire shoot was all smiles and giggles as she skipped from one location to the next with me. Garnering inspiration each time I turned and looked at her in front of an entirely different yet eye catching background.

My favorites were the more casual images, the kind that look like she was caught off guard. As well as the ones where she's just having fun! I always enjoy having fun with clients whose vision aligns with my creativity. Thanks Genevieve!
